God's Word Ministries is headquartered in Pretoria, South Africa, and is led by Deon and Averille Gerber.

Their journey is rooted in a rich heritage of generations dedicated to the Kingdom of God. Averille's grandfather, Pastor CJ Prinsloo, founded Members in Christ Assemblies in both South Africa and Canada. Her parents, Pastors Erenst and Irah van Rooyen, have been committed to full-time ministry since 1955.

Deon and Averille embarked on a full-time ministry path in 1980, pastoring several assemblies of the Pentecostal Protestant Church in South Africa. In 1999, guided by the Holy Spirit, they initiated a prophetic teaching ministry for the global body of Christ. From that pivotal moment, transformative change ensued. The Holy Spirit dismantled old patterns of thought, illuminating their understanding of God's current ways and movements.

Deon, apart from theological training and experience, holds a BA degree in Psychology from the University of South Africa. The couple, highly skilled prophetic counsellors, have facilitated healing and restoration through their ministry.

Their scope of ministry is broad and diverse, guided by a mission to foster connections with traditional churches, groups, and businesses.
