It is truly a great honour and privilege to join millions of people across the world to pursue this one common goal - to say thank you!

Of course our first and foremost thanksgiving goes to our God and Father for bestowing His great love and grace upon us and in this regard my heart is in total agreement with the following Scriptures

Psa 30:12 That my soul may sing praise to You and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks to You forever.

Rev 7:12 saying, "Amen, blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honour and power and might, be to our God forever and ever. Amen."

2Co 8:16 But thanks be to God

Following our thanksgiving to God is an endless list of precious people who myself and Averille, would like to say thank you to. Thank you for being there for us. It is you who make life so much easier.

But today I want to challenge each and everyone to create thanksgiving in someone else.

Paul is elaborating on this in 2 Corinthians 9:1-13 with regards to the collection that was to be taken up to aid the poor Christians in Judea.

In verses 11 - 13 he is describing the overflowing thanksgiving brought forth by this gift to the poor and needy

2Co 9:11 you will be enriched in everything for all liberality, which through us is producing thanksgiving to God. 2Co 9:12 For the ministry of this service is not only fully supplying the needs of the saints, but is also overflowing through many thanksgivings to God. 2Co 9:13 Because of the proof given by this ministry, they will glorify God for your obedience to your confession of the gospel of Christ and for the liberality of your contribution to them and to all,

The people in Corinth created an overflow of thanksgiving in the hearts of the people in Judea by just supplying in their need. On this day of thanksgiving let us follow their example by showing some tangible love towards someone else - then sit back and enjoy the gratitude that you have created.

Thank you!

Blessings to you and your family Much love Deon & Averille
